Visiting the Quakertown School

Visiting the Quakertown School

A few of us from the JAARS team visited a school nearby this morning to talk to the kids about JAARS and what we do and how we fit into God's work around the world. The school is a K-12 private school, so we talked with kids of all ages. One of our pilots flew the R66 helicopter in and landed it in the parking lot. The kids loved seeing it land and take off!

The two of us, along with our kids, explained what JAARS stands for and how we provide transportation service to missionaries using airplanes, helicopters, off-road vehicles, and boats. We talked about why it's necessary for the missionaries to have access to what we provide. And we explained how our family plans to move to Papua New Guinea and live and work there. Our children were a part of the discussions as well; they taught what the letters in JAARS means, and gave facts about Papua New Guinea, and even described the pets they hope to have there!

Here's a few pictures as well from the past few days.
