Assignment Update

We had a meeting last week with some of the JAARS leadership, and they had news for us. They are still planning to send us to Papua New Guinea, which is great and a real answer to prayer. Praise God! They also filled us in that the timing will be a little later than we previously expected. They will aim to send us to PNG in March or April of 2026. JAARS has needs here in Waxhaw that Brad can help fill in his role as a pilot. And they also are conscious of staggering those of us going to PNG so as not to overwhelm the training (and later, the furlough) process there.

So while we're a little surprised in the later timing, we're rejoicing that God is still aiming us toward PNG. And we are also excited to get to spend a little more time in the States close to family and friends and have the opportunity to serve the Lord here in Waxhaw.
